Great local bakery with lots of yummy options. Their tuna and other sandwiches are to die for; I could live on their potato and leek focaccia with a croissant chaser. Such deliciousness here. 🩷
This bakery is amazing and not outrageously priced. I was first introduced to their bread at the Salty Pig so i had to visit the bakery at the first opportunity. Kind of away from Boston but worth the drive. They staff is friendly and constantly add fresh stuff on the shelves. Recommend going early to get the freshest breads, pastry and sandwiches. 100% worth it!
Discovering Iggy's Bread was a delightful surprise. Initially familiar with their baguettes from grocery stores, I recently took a visit to their store, which doubled as a manufacturing facility. The space was charming and inviting, with everything priced quite reasonably. I got a few of their sandwiches and pastries. Both the salmon bagel sandwich and the ham & egg sandwich were enjoyable. Their buns and bagels leaned more towards chewy side, but I liked them nonetheless. The pastries, however, were much better than I expected. Each one boasted a perfect level of flakiness and crispness, with the pecan sticky bun being my favorite. Unlike the typical sticky buns I've tasted around the city, this one had a unique, croissant-like base that made it exceptionally memorable.
Iggy's bread is the best I've discovered in Boston so far, after trying many different bread over the past five months. Because I live far from the bakery, I buy their bread at Star Market. My favorite is their whole wheat round loaf. Thank you!
Just the best, most reliable fresh bread you can get in Cambridge. The loaves are better baked and more consistent than the more boutique-y bakeries around that charge more than twice as much for a loaf. The staff is lovely and everything is fresh and delicious. Pastries are also quite good, but it's the bread and pizza that keeps me coming back again and again!
We’ve been frequenting this bakery since we were kids, and every year it somehow gets better and better! The croissants are exceptional, the service is fast, and the bread is outstanding! So much variety with the croissants: ham and cheese, feta and spinach, regular, chocolate, etc! They also have pizza and amazing bagels. Definitely the best bakery in MA🫶🏼

Amazing bakery with good bread. The plain croissant is not fermented enough. But the kougin aman is sourdough and good with raspberry. Prices are reasonable. Pizza is OK. Bread is not aged enough either. Very fun place with nice staff.
Stopped into Iggy’s Bread again after bringing home a French baguette last week that disappeared almost immediately. The family liked it so much I came back for two more baguettes and decided to try the Australian loaf this time too. I didn’t even realize they could slice the bread for you, which honestly made bringing it home a lot easier. Fresh bread, great smell walking in, and a really cool atmosphere seeing all the baked goods lined up. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
